Happy Weekend

It’s getting nasty out there this afternoon as we prepare for more precipitation. As I type this, the Weather Channel is saying we expect to see 3 to 5 inches of snow this evening on top of the wet roads we’ve had all day. Even with the inclement weather hitting, it is still Friday, so it’s time for a quick run down on some of the activities happening in and around Columbus this weekend. Be careful out there, and have fun this weekend!

Blue Jackets vs Florida Panthers

Friday 7:00 pm

With several key players out with injuries, the search for offense is ongoing for the Blue Jackets. Head to Nationwide Arena and be join the 5th Line to cheer the Jackets on to a home victory.

Chris Janson at The Bluestone

Friday 7 pm

Country singer Chris Janson will be performing live at The Bluestone. Doors open at 7:00.

Ron White at the Palace Theatre

Friday 8 pm

Comedian Ron “Tater Salad” White first rose to fame as the cigar-smoking, scotch-drinking funnyman from the Blue Collar Comedy Tour phenomenon, and is now a chart-topping, Grammy-nominated comedian, feature film actor, and star in his own right. Phantom of the Opera

Cameron Mackintosh’s spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera has come to Columbus as part of their brand new North American Tour. The Chefs at Hills Downtown are preparing 10 unique bites that are packed withbacony goodness. Break those winter blues and head to their downtown location to celebrate the crispy, salty snack we all adore. Each savory or sweet bite will be paired with a local beer or wine to match. Pre-sale tickets will be available until 5pm on Saturday, January 13th. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $40, and are subject to availability.
